Supportive Services

A Place to Find All the Essentials
LifeStyles’ Samaritan Project provides basic safety net services to assist households in meeting their most essential needs.
Food Pantry & Distribution
LifeStyles food pantry offers emergency food for a three-day period. Households can receive assistance every 30 days. Larger food distributions are held periodically throughout the year in partnership with other local organizations. Food is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Charles County Cares Cabanas
Through our partnership with End Hunger in Charles County and with support from The Wills Group, we have placed cabanas throughout Charles County to provide regular access to ready-to-eat meal bags as well as weekly grocery pickups.
Holiday Baskets
LifeStyles annually provides Thanksgiving and Christmas turkey baskets to families to offset their needs around the holidays.
Household items
LifeStyles provides households who are transitioning into permanent housing with items needed. This includes connections to available furniture, small appliances, dishware, etc. LifeStyles also provides toiletry items for those that are homeless and households in need.
Clothing
The clothing closet provides casual and professional wear clothing for all persons in the household. We provide items for those fleeing domestic violence through “Rosemary’s Closet.”
Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)
LifeStyles works to connect individuals with this federal program that provides nutrition benefits to supplement the food budget of needy families so they can purchase healthy food and move towards self-sufficiency.
