Transitional Housing for a Brighter Future

LifeStyles of Maryland is working to renovate the old White House Motel on US-301 to create Southern Crossing, a one-of-a-kind facility providing short-term housing, along with career and life skills training, to homeless individuals and families in Southern Maryland. It’s an ambitious project, and it can’t happen without you.

Southern Crossing will house up to 77 residents for up to 18 months. Residence options will feature 1-bedroom, 2-bedroom and efficiency units.

Supportive Services Include:

• Case management
• Financial education
• Credit repair 
• Permanent housing assistance
• Career training options include:
• Culinary
• Computers
• Media education
• And more

Applications for residents will be available starting in July 2022. Applicants must have verifiable proof of income to be considered.
