Volunteer Opportunities!<\/strong><\/h1>\n

Once you have completed and <\/span>submitted<\/span> your <\/span>LifeStyles<\/span> volunteer application<\/span><\/span>, please allow time for <\/span>LifeStyles<\/span> to process your application. <\/span><\/span><\/span>Once you <\/span><\/span><\/span>have received your Welcome email, you may set up the <\/span>LifeStyles<\/span>VicNet<\/span><\/span> Volunteer Portal on a computer at Volgistics VicNet Volunteer Portal<\/a><\/span>\u00a0<\/span>and\/or download <\/span><\/span>and set up <\/span>the <\/span>VicNet<\/span> mobile app from either the Apple or Google app stores. Using <\/span>VicNet<\/span>, <\/span>LifeStyles<\/span> volunteers have a real-<\/span>time view of all the opportunities available. You can sign up to volunteer for an assignment or event with just a click.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

To set up your <\/span>VicNet<\/span> account, you will need the email address you provided to <\/span>LifeStyles<\/span> on your volunteer application. The first time you log in you will need to request a password reset then you will receive an email with a reset link and instructions to set up your <\/span>VicNet<\/span> password.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Note: Volunteer assignments for those under age 18 are limited at this time. LifeStyles periodically schedules weekend events and activities where help is always needed and welcomed. Registered LifeStyles volunteers receive information about these events via email. However, these events may not be available in time to meet immediate community service or court-ordered volunteer service needs.<\/em><\/p>\n

Donate Items<\/h6>\n

Donations of bottled water and nonperishable food items can be made at our main LifeStyles offices at 101 Catalpa Drive, Suite 103, in La Plata.<\/span><\/p>\n

Other items can be donated Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10am to 4pm at our LifeStyles Distribution Center at <\/span>3410 Leonardtown Road in Waldorf, next to the skating rink.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
